I am David Bezpalec, my PhD project aims to investigate the effect of exogenous ketones on cognitive performance in young people, elderly and people with ADHD.
I graduated from the University of Glasgow with MSci in Physiology and Sports Science in 2022. During my studies I started to be interested in ketosis and did an internship in Oxford where the ketone monoester drink was invented. It is fascinating to me that exogenous ketone drinks allow us to quickly provide an alternative energy source to our brain.
Apart from ketosis, I have interest in longevity science in general and in aging clock technology in particular. I like to play tennis and chess in my free time
